Once again, we are in the process of re-re-renovating our website - with all the feedback you gave us...
In the meantime, please use shop.totaldiving.com for all available information on Total Diving, or use one of the following shortcuts:
With Total Diving, you can learn to dive with scuba diving courses available all over the island of Montreal!

Every year, more people "shop online" and then, buy from their local dive store. We encourage you to do so! In fact, we've built our online scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and water sport shopping site to help you "shop" with tools like our handy "compare" feature and our cool "wishlist" to share gift ideas with your friends. We want to be your total scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and water sport shopping site.
If you decide to buy dive gear online, we'll be glad to serve you. You'll find scuba diving equipment and snorkeling gear including wetsuits, scuba regulators, dive BCDs, dry suits, dive computers and a wide variety of scuba diving, snorkeling and free diving fins, masks and snorkels from brands like Aqualung, Suunto, Bare, Apeks, Mares, Sherwood, Genesis, Atomic, Vorgee, XS Scuba and many more. Used and new dive gear, snorkeling gear and swimming equipment.
We are a National Geographic center and a PADI Career Development Center (CDC) offering all scuba diving and snorkeling courses by PADI, DSAT TecRec, DAN, EFR, PSI and a few others.
You can start by trying to breath underwater in our on-site in-door pool, then progress in your underwater adventures with the PADI Open Water scuba diver course, PADI Advanced Open Water scuba diver course, PADI rescue diver, PADI divemaster and PADI scuba instructor. And let's not forget the National Geographic scuba diving explorer program!
Total means "total": anything you need in scuba, we have it for you!
In our dive shop and on our online shopping website, we were always facing the same "general" questions: What do I "need" to start scuba diving? How do I learn to dive? What scuba diving courses should I take first? What dive gear do I need? Should I rent scuba equipment or buy my own dive gear? Should I do the PADI Advanced Open Water scuba diver course right after the PADI Open Water diver course or later? Where should I go for my first underwater adventure? Is a dive trip on a live-aboard for me? What is technical diving? How do I start in technical diving? What should I do if I want to work in the dive industry? How do I become a dive professional?
We really couldn’t cover all of that general scuba diving information on our shopping website for dive gear designed to let you select specific scuba gear, courses and trips.
We needed a general "Scuba Guide" to serve as a reference for general information on scuba diving equipment, trips and courses.
At our Total Diving center in Montreal, we have our own on-site in-door pool and a few multimedia classrooms... And we'd love to see you there!
However... If it is more convenient for you to start your PADI Open Water Diver course at the CEPSUM of the University of Montreal, well... We'd be happy to see you there as well!
Our team of PADI instructors are in charge of the PADI scuba diving courses in the beautiful 15 feet deep pool of the University of Montreal.
Please note, though, that all PADI courses at the CEPSUM are in French.
Check a couple more videos about scuba diving... A picture might be worth a thousand words, but a scuba diving video is more like... Breathtaking! Check these scuba videos right here.
